Blues Intensive

Age: 11 and older
Experience: Proficient on indicated instrument
An immersive experience in all things blues -- the history, the style, and the music of legends like John Lee Hooker and Big Mama Thornton -- culminating in a once in a lifetime opportunity as students take the big stage at the North Atlantic Blues Festival on Sunday July 14 to open the day’s festivities. Visiting teachers will work with students in breakout groups to refine both their individual and ensemble skills.
