Jeff Dunsmore

Jeff Densmore hails from Richmond, Maine and has lived in Waldo County for the past forty years. Music has always been his calling. In 1979, Jeff studied music at UMaine Augusta and from then on has played drums in many different settings and all genres - from country to jazz and theater to gospel. In 1989-1990, Jeff studied drum set and congas at Drummer Collective in NYC and in 1992 took a trip to Guinea for an intensive drum and dance course. Currently, Jeff plays hand drums with an acoustic trio called Cafe Dayz and kit with the Belfast-based band Hot Suppers.
